Building Toward Our Future Scholarship Night

This event features dinner and then live, local talent to help raise scholarship money for each graduating Franklin High School senior that goes to college or technical school.  Tickets can be obtained from any local Franklin High School senior.  Watch the FISD website and local newspapers for specific time and date.

Chris Jones Memorial Hog Hunt

 This annual hog hunt is in memory of Christine (Chris) Jones and raises money for a (an) scholarship(s) to be given to a (an) graduating Franklin High School senior(s) in her name.  Watch for flyers around town and ads in the local newspapers for specific date and other information.

Christmas Angels

This annual December event helps those in our community who may need a little help with Christmas for their children.  It is done by an application process.  Volunteers are needed to help with fundraising and wrapping gifts for this project.

Feast of Sharing

This annual December event provides a holiday meal to those who may not otherwise have a holiday meal.  This meal is served at the Franklin High School cafeteria (location is subject to change).  Watch for more information on the date and time in your location newspapers.  Donations for funding and volunteers for fundraising, cooking, serving, delivering, and cleaning up the day of the feast are always needed.

Franklin United Methodist Church Cookie Walk

This December event helps the church raise money for their building fund after having to rebuild their church after it was severely damaged in 2013 by severe weather.  Lots of delicious cookies are sold by the pound.  Fliers around town and in the local newspapers will give your the specific date and time of this event.  Come early because the cookies sell quick!

Franklin United Methodist Church Pre-School Father/Daughter Dance

This annual dance is a fundraiser that benefits the pre-school at the Franklin United Methodist Church.  This event will be the 1st Saturday of February each year.  Watch for flyers and ads in the local newspapers for all the specific details.

Patrick Masonic Lodge #359 Annual BBQ Scholarship Fundraiser and Silent Auction
